I ordered an item over a month ago. My credit card was charged almost immediately, although I received NO confirmation email.
I let it go for a couple of weeks and sent an email requesting an upate on the status of my order. I received no response. Over the next week, I sent several emails and left messages on their voice mail, and again... No response. On 3/28/08 I sent them an email requesting that they at least respond to my email or I will report them to the BBB.
On 3/30/08, I finally received a reponse from them:
"Your order shipped out 2 weeks ago Via the USPS.
Feel free to call the BBB."
Although their email was extremely rude, unprofessional and low class, I replied that if my package was indeed mailed out two weeks prior, then they should forward me the shipping confirmation number and also my package should arrive the next day.
Of course, I haven't received a reply since I know my package was never mailed. I also haven't received my merchandise, and, according to them, was shipped out three weeks ago.
It's even more suspicious that my credit card was charged $295 to some google.com merchant around the same time I sent the email about reporting them to the BBB. I am in the process of investigating this charge.
Although my total order is just under $40, I expect to receive merchandise that I pay for. D & S Giftware stole this money from me and I will continue to pursue this criminal activity.
