I recently placed two orders with the website pinupgirlclothing.com. They both arrived on the same day. The first box I opened was missing one of the dresses that I paid for. I checked the invoice they sent in the box and it did not list the dress as being in the box... However the email they sent me shows it as shipping within that box that I received. My credit card was also charged for this dress. The policy of pinupgirlclothing.com is if the item is out of stock they send you an email and refund your money... They never did either so I can only assume they screwed up and just didn't send the dress. I have attempted to call the company many times as well as email them. They do NOT answer ANY of the messages you leave them. You will also be lucky to even get a voicemail as I called for days upon days and received either a message that states "You are calling outside of business hours" (which by the way I have tried them morning, noon and night and you always get the same message) or you will get a message saying "the mailbox is too full to leave a message try again later". At no time will a real human answer your phone. Should you be lucky enough to get a voicemail beep to leave a message it won't matter. Because they refuse to call you back.
I made the mistake of placing two orders with the horrible scamming company. I placed them both on the same night so I didn't know. Well you know the first thing that happened where they charged me $92.00 and didn't send the dress right? Well the second box had a damaged $16.00 hair clip that was crushed and ripped... Something that didn't happen upon delivery it was definatly shipped to me like that. Also one of the shirts in the box has a black mark on the front. The items look like someone elses' returns that they decided to send to me for FULL PRICE. I sent back those items with insurance and have witnesses to what is in the box and have also took photographs of the package... As most likely they will try to steal my money on this one as well and not refund me for the return. My credit company is disputing the $92.00 dress and told me if this company doesn't refund me for the return they will dispute that as well.
I suggest you keep phone records, email copies, photocopies... Every little thing if you are going to deal with this company because if they make a mistake they will NOT fix it... And they will steal your money.
By the way I emailed Laura the owner on myspace... But of course she doesn't care enough to email me back. She did read the email though... Guess she didn't think about the fact that myspace keeps record and shows when something is read... Thanks Laura just more proof for my case that you people ignore your customers. I won't stop until I get my money back... in no way will I let a company steal from me and I'm sorry to see that it happened to someone else.
I say that anyone ripped off by this company should get in contact with each other... I'm ready. There are many courses of action we can take... And the more of us the better the outcome. The law doesn't take kindly to fraud... And this is internet fraud, mail fraud and a whole lot of other things. To the other person who filed a report I hope to hear from you... We can help each other to get our money back.
