I had signed myself and one of my children to take a class from this company. A couple of days after I had made the reservations for the two of us to take the class. My son informed my that his schedule had changed and therefore would not be able to take the class. I called Mastermind Memory to cancel this one reservation. I was not able to speak to anyone (I now know it is a person company) and had to leave a message.
After a couple of days, I had not gotten a response from the company so I called again and again had to leave a message. Still no response, so this time I faxed in a written request asking to cancel the one reservation and requesting a refund for that one person. I still planned on taking the class myself. The next day, the owner of the company (Mark Duffner) called me to tell me there were absolutely no refunds and he became very verbally abusive toward me.
I then informed Mr. Duffner, that there was no way I was now going to attend his class and that I was cancelling my reservation also and requesting a full refund. He pretty much went nuts, saying no refunds at all and again became very verballly abusive towards me so I hung up on him. He called back a couple times right after I hung up on him. He proceeded to call my phone several times over the next couple of days (which were a Saturday and Sunday.) Of course I never answered nor responded to his calls. I then filed a dispute with my credit card company about this charge!
