I bought a crib for $600 from this company when I was 7 months pregnant. The store promised delivery of the crib within 6-8 weeks. Since this was such a time-sensitive product I told them that I could only buy this crib if delivery was on time. They said it will absolutely be delivered before 8 weeks.
After waiting 8 weeks for the delivery, I called the store to find out why my crib did not arrive. They said it will be another 4 or more weeks for delivery and that they cannot give me a definite time. I told them that I could deliver in the next few weeks and that I really needed the crib. They said I can get my money back or get a used crib on loan until mine arrives.
At this point I was 35 weeks pregnant and put on bed rest. I was in no position to shop for another crib after waiting two months. Moreover, I did not feel comfortable with a used loaner crib after paying $600. They company was so rude and left me in a desperate state. It was so late in my pregnancy that I had to follow their terms. The manager said this type of delay was common. I heard nothing of this when I bought the crib.
This company misleads and falsely promises pregnant women and takes advantage of them when they are in a helpless state and have no other choice but to concede to the company's practices.
