Tells whatever lies they need to in order to get your business

Our company signed up with DATAVO after one of our regular customers said he was a sales rep for them and convinced us that his company could provide the same service as our current provider (AT&T) but at almost half the cost. He garunteed that we wouldn't have any down time on our phone lines nor would we have any problems accessing our camera system from home. All was a lie.

The techs came out on a Thursday and by Friday 11am, we couldnt use a single phone line. I called the customer service department and they said their whole entire system was completely out and should be back up and running soon. Our credit card terminal has it's own phone line. We had no problem using the machine but at the end of the night, it couldnt settle the transactions out. The customer service dept. Said they didnt have the phone line set to tranfer data. After being put on hold for ten minutes, they came back to the line and said it was fixed and we shouldn't have anymore problems. After their system was back running, we were finally able to receive phone calls but it wasnt all correct. We are a quick serve restaurant with 80% of our business being phone orders. Our roll-over line was completely screwed up. Our customers couldnt here us and they would just hang up and keep calling back. It was so embarassing.

After calling customer service all weekend (about 15 calls) we finanly got a tech who said he would sent someone out. Needless to say, they never showed up. We even got a follow-up call to see if our issue was fixed. I told woman nobody ever showed and she said she will get on it to see what happened. I never heard back from her.

We has to take our credit card terminal to our neighbors in the shopping center and use their phone line to settle out our credit card transactions. I also had to manually re-enter all our transactions for 3 days of business.

After our service was switched back to AT&T, a DATAVO rep called me to see if there was anything they could do to keep our business. After I explained all of our issues and told her there was NO WAY we would ever do business with them again, she tried to say we were responsible for a $200 early termination fee. After I told her we had 30 days to cancel, she said we were at 31 days. We called AT&T 5 days after having DATAVO. They were trying to find a way to get any kind of money from us.

The wiring their techs did was so horrible, we had to pay AT&T over $300 to re-wire our lines the correct way. Signing up with DATAVO was the biggest mistake and the worst headache in the world. Our sales rep wouldnt return any of our calls. We couldnt get him to stop calling and coming by the restaurant when he was trying to solicite our business but when we needed him he was nowhere to be found.

If anybody from DATAVO tries to get your business, DO NOT sign up with them. Your business will suffer. I have never experienced a company that was ran so poorly. The customer service is rediculous. They dont care about you, your business or your time. I spent over an hour and a half in total on hold with the customer service department. Stay away from datavo. They are the worst company ever!
