Apparently buried in the small print it does say offer is only good for "new" members. Not quite sure how a "new" member could "come back". The email is clearly an attempt to defraud. When I signed up, not only do they now claim I did not enter their site through the email (I did), but they insist they are not going to make it right.
I will be canceling this account after I receive written and signed receipts from the store when I physically return their movies.
If anyone else has been duped by this and you need another hat in the ring, consider mine tossed in...
