Home Town Restyling is a home improvement company that sells extremely very poor quality home remodeling windows, siding and other building services.
They sold my wife and i over $10,000.00 dollars in windows and the windows are so bad that they leak hot and cold air and all winter long we had so much ice you could use an ice pick to chop it off the windows.
Also we have tons of condensation and they said we had a moisture problem which we do not have, we had it professionally checked.
Also we had so much trouble getting Home Town Restyling to come out and see what was wrong with the windows, it took 8 calls to get them to come out and each time they did all they did was lie to us about what was wrong with the windows.
Home Town Restyling does not finish there work and you have to keep caling them.
They left the sweep off the back door we bought from them all winter long, there doors are also questionalble.
Doors leak cold air as well and the paint fell of one door twice and it took forever to get them to come out and replace the door with another poorly made door!
First time the windows had no insulation in them,
next time the windows were not square, next the reason we had so much moisture and ice is our bodies were producing to much sweat.
Next it was the showers, next they had us put in an air exchange, next they needed to caulk them in side and out,
next they said our blinds were causing the problem and so on and so on. It was to the point of rediculiousness.
Also there is another person i became friends with from a town 40 miles away who is having the same issues i have been having with the windows they bought from Home Town Restyling.
I took lots and lots of photos and the company had the sale rep from republic windows come to our home with the owner wynn winn from home town. I showed them the photos and they were at first speechless.
Then they looked at each other and said that was normal, i said no way that is normal??? I was so mad and they sat there and lied through there teeth about the windows being the best on the market.
I have taken the liberty to hire a really great law firm and i am proceeding with a law suit against Home Town Restyling. I have ran in to so many people who have been taken in by this ripoff company who sell garbage and does garbage work.
So be aware of home town restyling they are a horrible company and sell the worst of the worst products for home remodeling. They also do a horrible job!!!
