Champion installed a leaky storm door, leaky double hung windows through my home. The windows leak water inside the home and wall every time it rains or if you were to wash the windows with your garden hose. I have called them repeatedly over several months and all though they have responded nobody has been able to solve the problem.
They do not seem to know what to do or seem to think that the leaky windows are that big of a problem as if they think we should just deal with it and ignore the problem as they seem to be doing. Champion's excuse is that is what we have insurance for to cover the damage or we could put some caulk on the storm door and caulk the windows.
Keep in mind people that these are NEW windows lees than one year old. They should need to be caulked. I also have been told by someone who works for Champion [that all of our stuff leaks this way]. I was also given the phone number to the factory that makes the storm doors for Champion so I could call and try to get them to fix the door, like it's my responsibility to get the door fix or replaced.
Yes people Champion DOES NOT make their own doors. Don't be fooled by all the positive feed back you read about Champion.
