Entertainment Rewards is an online monthly membership where you can print off up to 100 50% off or two-for-one coupons for both local and nationwide merchants.
If you have Entertainment Rewards showing up on your statement it means that you did the following:
You made a purchase on one of the partner sites (ticketmaster, ticketweb, american blinds, etc) and were offered an opportunity to learn more about a cash back award.
You were then taken to a page that explains the entertainment rewards program, free trial and on-going, and how to get the cash back award.
The 30-day free trial membership was initiated when you entered your e-mail twice and then clicked on "yes".
Entering that e-mail twice serves as your electronic signature and by entering you address you DO authorize the partner to pass the credit card and billing information to Entertainment Rewards to start a free trial.
You also authorized Entertainment Rewards to bill the same credit card $9 at the end of the free trial period unless the membership was cancelled prior to the end of the free trial and the first billing period.
To access your membership, go to rewards. Entertainment.com and log in. Your username is the e-mail you signed up with and you can have it e-mail you your password.
You did authorize it, did not read the offer, and it was an error on YOUR PART. It is a perfectly legal operation, has been checked out by lawyer after lawyer, and if you got signed up for it it is in YOUR ERROR. Call 18002317283 to discontinue. I have no pity for you if you have been charged for two years or however long it has been becuase if you had read the page and checked your bank statements you would not have been charged however much you were.
