For my billing statement of 7/03/08, from Charter Communications I noticed a $263.79 increase due to adult programming that was added to my bill. I called them as soon as I noticed the drastic increase since I knew for a fact none of the programming was watched let alone ordered from my household. A technician came to my house and inspected the cable box and documented that nothing was ordered and then was to send a report to his supervisor. I was told I would hear something in 24-48 hours. I did not hear a thing.
I called again 7/19/08 and spoke to a gentlemen (ID number documented) and was told that my account would be adjusted accordingly, send in my normal monthly payment so I did. I offered work contact numbers to prove that I was not even home during these programming times and dates, but they were not interested in that, just the fact they want their money.
As of 8/05/08 when I checked my email the account was still not credited. I have spoken to countless superviors, and am still not satisfied. I really do hope the matter is taken care of, but I've been lied to (as they call it misinformed) on countless occasions by people I have spoken to at Charter Communications that I will believe it when I see it.
