We had a horrible experience with TLC K9 Academy. We spent $700 with the promise that our dog would be trained in 2 sessions and would no longer show aggression to kids. The first session lasted a little over an hour, we called and complained about the lack of time spent with our dog and they set up another appointment with the trainer, saying it would not be counted as our 2nd session. The trainer showed up, spent 40 minutes at our house, barely 15 minutes with our dog, and suggested we host a "dog training" party with kids to get him used to the kids. Sorry but I do not feel comfortable with inviting my friends' kids over to test out the training... What happens if he bit one of them???
So we called and complained again, and were told that we weren't going to get our money back because that is not their policy.
We are extremely unhappy with the way we were treated. $700 is a lot of money for us and we were under the impression that they would work more with our dog. We could have had the same training if we went to Petco.
