We booked our DJ a year in advance because he had a deal going. Closer to the wedding we met with him and finalized all the details. He asked me to make him a disk of specfic songs because all though he has 20,000 songs he wasnt sure he could find all of them. I made the CD and mailed it to him. My husband called and made sure he got it and made sure it worked. The DJ promised us it did.
He arrived at the wedding at 525—which started at 530, which he promised he would be at the facility at 430—he played the wrong music then claimed he didnt have the CD and played what I requested. Wrong. Luckily I had a back up CD so the other songs I wanted were played. But him being there late caused everything else to run late and I missed out on some important pictures so that we could move forward as we were on a limited time. When confronted he was very rude to the cordinator, my husband and maid of honor. Then when I emailed him the next day he was rude to me. Stating we changed our itenary so many times he didnt know. We changed it once because it had been a year and the only things that changed were the First dance and the father daughter dance.
Dont book this guy. He will make you do all the leg work. Then blame you for his unorganized. He was rude and crass to everyone at my wedding.
The DJ said he used my CD at another wedding and downloaded all the songs to play for them. So, he should have had the songs in his system to play for mine if he only had the list. But after lie after lie everything went to pot.
My coordinator said she would never let him play there again.
