I was also duped by Jim Lilly and Medwise into paying the $395 fee in cash or money order only. I red flag went up with me with that because they wouldn't take credit card or debit card. For two days I listened to Lilly talk about the great opportunity he had for us. There was about 30 of us there in Winston Salem, NC and I know at least 8 people dished out the cash to get in on this program. Outright lies started to manifest right from the start. First of all the ad they ran said it was a sales job, not a businesses opportunity. Then the ad said we didn't have to do any prospecting.in fact, the first day of "training" was dedicated to just that. "A salesman's dream job. No prospecting" Lilly repeated over and over. But when we were hooked by his lies, it turns out that the entire second day of training was dedicated to Prospecting. We were told we would get 5 leads and three more for each sale we made. I got my 5 leads but all turned out to be dead leads, but that's was OK with me. I was a pretty aggressive marketer. Since I was so convinced the program was a worthwhile program and so many needed it it went around and spoke to everyone that would listen to me about MedWise. Churches, Civic Groups, Doctors, Pharmacist. I ran ads at my expense. I started to get plenty of calls on my 800 number. I even had some 3 ways set up. Then it happened. It had been less than three weeks before I became a MedWise rep and was told on our regular Monday night conference call that MedWise had closed for good. Gone out of business on Monday, July 14 by the same man (Jim Lilly) that just two and a half weeks ago had so eloquently sold us on how great an opportunity this was.
