Wow, 46 people/suckers showed up for a 3 hr. Evening of hope. The ad stated salary and commission $85,000. No prospecting, clients call you.
First thing Jim Lilly, the Director of company, states is that the ad is WRONG and there is NO SALARY.
Jim Lilly tells the crowd how caring he is to his mother and her plight with the high cost of drugs. He is only up here in the Balt./Wash. Area to meet with congressional people about high prescription cost. Usually doesn't do these meetings but was up here anyhow. He tells the crowd about his $million a year income in the insurance field and why he is now out to help others.
After the long war stories about nothing the crowd is interested in, he finally gets to the earnings potential of the job. Everyone is now attentive and he shows an amazing opportunity. The crowd is then left with the chance to come back tommorow with $395 in cash or money order. No Personal checks. The only ones back are those that were not called by him the night before and told that they are not worthy of the job. Don't believe that even happened. I think it is just a con in order for those who do show up think they are special.
Big Point is no time is given to checkout any references, current reps, happyclients, etc. DVD handed out after $395 is old and one rep on dvd gives his name and number (wrong number) and facts about cost are old also.
Mr. Lilly also states at the very end of 6.5 hours class that there is an INCOME requirement in order to qualify client. $31,000 per year yet the avg. Medwise client is on 10 drugs per month between $700 to 1200 per month.
Nobody could afford 10 drugs on $31,000 and I ask about this $requirement from the Drug Co. And Mr. Lilly just brushes the question off.
We are now in line to give $395 and he states that reps get 3 leads for every sale made. Not the 'CLIENTS CALL US' but REPS have to place ads.
I think I was conned.
