I attended the "interview" for Medwise Healthcare in Jacksonville FL. A few weeks ago. I certainly don't consider myself a sucker but I got suckered.
I'm writting this to let anyone who may be considering putting out the $395 startup fee to not waste there time and money. Jim Lilly will tell you at the end of the first day of "interview" that if you get a phone call tonight you are not invited back for the second day of interview because he can tell who will make it and who won't. I don't think anyone gets a phone call. I did'nt get the call but I made the mistake of going back. I should have called my own doctor on Friday and I would have found out that they do PAP for there patients for free.
Jim will tell you to set up an 800 #, put an ad in some local newspaper and get business cards online all of which you have to pay for. (If you want the actual MedWise cards from Vista print they are NOT free.) I did all of this. I have not got one response from my newspaper ad.
Please notice that everything you do is at your expense, including calling the Medwise office for help. What real company does'nt have an 800#???
The discs you will get are pretty useless. I am still waiting for my "Back Office" to be set up 3 weeks later. They tell you you will get free leads. I got 5 via email they were worthless. I called to see if I could get more and they said they would give no more. Notice they are closed for lunch from 12-1 every day and only open until 1 on friday. What real company operates with those hours?
You will get little to no support from Medwise when you call them for help (on your dime). Jim will ask you to go out and recruit insurance agents. Another $395 for the company.
Please don't waste your time and $. I wish I had not.
