We were moving from tampa fl to oklahoma city ok. We priced movers and this company came up very low. I called and talked to erica. Two ways to move weight or volume. I choose volume. She assured that every thing was based on volume not weight if that what we needed and no other cost were charged. I asked her how it would work. She explained, they come break down the furniture pack it into a truck with all the medium size boxes that we have and drive to ok. I asked if they were insured and bonded. She stated yes and sent me alot of paperwork. She said it would take five days because the law says they can only drive 8 hours day at 60 mph. We were fine with that. Then they would unload and reassemble the furniture.
We heard about ripoff report and saw the report. I questioned erica and the manager aruraz? Sorry do not know the spelling, and the manager. I was assured line by line as to there side of the story.
When they arrived a the house they had a budget truck, so i questioned it. They movers said they load it there, take it to miami, unload and reload it to another truck, then were stopping in tn, then ky, then ar, then to ok. Alot of room for items to be lost, broken, misplaced, or damaged. They then hand me a insurance waiver form that stated they were not responsible for any items broken that they did not pack it. I stated the boxes were packed very well. The movers said no the furniture. I said explain, he said we have to wrap everything and its going to be an extra 1200.00. I got on the phone with all three and try to get some type of explanation as to why it was not going to the plan that was laid out to me. They explaned the had the right to change moving arrangements for cost issues. Ok but what about the extra charge and insurance. You have to pay that and were are not responsible for damages. I told them i had some military friends that could have help me do all this for alot less. He said to go call your faggot military friends and have them help you move then. Hello come again. You heard me, at that point i told the movers i was not going to sign the insurance papers they were responsible for anything that happens. They left.
The company charged me 25% for canceling which i am still fighting. I would have hate to have seen what would have happen. How can a foreign company come to america and not appreciate our military.
I questioned everything about this company like everyone else. They changed the way they bill to put you on the spot instead of being up front and reliable.
