I am going to make this quick and simple. I was a DISH customer for about four years. I got to the point I just wasn't watching TV anymore. I called to cancel. They transferred to another DISH person who was rude and tried to intimidate me. I finally convinced them my true desire was to cancel, the two year obligation I signed being long past. I paid the last bill online, and I have proof of this. They sent me boxes to return their equipment via UPS. I returned the equipment long before the 30 day time limit. Over the next several weeks I got probably 20 harrassiing automated phone calls from them threatening me that I would have to pay full price for their lousy equipment if they did not receive it in time, and saying they would refer me to collections. For a few months I didn't hear much, except DISH kept calling me back asking if I would subscribe again, which I replied with NO, and I informed the persons that called that their tactics were very heavy handed. Another month goes by, and here I am receiving automated messages from Riddle and Associates about how they are trying to collect a debt, and by Federal Law they are informing me of this. Well, all my bills are paid, on time. I Googlle the telephone number they left me, and who do I come up with but DISH! I can't believe what a nightmare this has turned out to be. Guess what, I would spend the rest of my life on DEVIL'S ISLAND before I would ever pay this dishonest, terrible excuse for an American company even one cent. Mark my words, I don't care what they do, they will get nothing from me. And I am calling Riddle and Associates at first light: someone is gonna be receiving a ROYAL ASS CHEWING. Futhermore, I will tell everyone I know what kind of company DISH Network is, and recommend they never become a customer. Don't like it DISH? Too bad! Sue me if you don't like it, here I am. I cannot believe this company is allowed to operate legally in the United States. They are obviously dishonest, incompetent, crooks! So they want trouble, they got it. If I had to choose between being burned alive or resubscribing to DISH, I would very happilly choose being burned alive! Shame on them! I am not going to put up with this any longer. Anyone that reads this: NEVER BECOME A DISH SUBSCRIBER!!! Do yourself a giant favor and listen to what I am saying!!! I am also going to talk to my sister, and civil lawyer and partner in a major law firm about a class action law suit against DISH, and one against Riddle and Associates if they so much as try to damage my credit. I want to add that I swear on my dear mother's grave everything I have said is the Gods honest truth. I cannot believe the way DISH has bullied and harrassed me. Did the KGB infiltrate them? So DISH, you want war, you got it!!! I am so mad I could just explode at this point. I am reporting DISH to every consumer watch group I can find, BBB, consumer affairs, you name it, I'm reporting. I don't understand how this company is permitted to operate in the United States. They need to go out of business, and some of their people need to go to prison. Again to DISH, sue me if you don't like, I am going to become a thorn in your butt. Dish sucks. DON'T ever be a DISH customer. I wouldn't be a DISH customer again if they offerred me all the gold at Fort Knox! So now you have it. The honest to God truth about DISH NETWORK from an honest consumer that pays his bills. How you like them apples? DISH should be prosecuted and forced to cease operations. I want monetary compensation for what they have done to me. Well see who sends who a bill. See you in court DISH, and I don't care if you have the same legal team OJ used. Even if I was to lose in court, which I don't see being possible, DISH will never get one plug nickel from me, I don't care if they destroy my credit. I hate you DISH, what a terrible company you are. Shame on you for what you are doing to former customers. For the rest of my life I am going to do everything possible and legal to shut you down. You do not deserve the right to operate in the United States. You are the lowest of the low. I cannot think of another company in the entire world that is worse than DISH, and that includes Enron. Your CEO should be in prison, along with many other employees at your company. Shame, shame, shame on you. I hate you DISH. See you in court. You owe me some money, and I am going to get it if it's the last thing I do on this planet!!! How you like me now, crooked, lousy, pitiful, poor excuse for an American company. Dish!!!
