Comcast Appointments And Services - trapped Out Line And Didn't Bother To Tell Us. Canceled confirmed appointments Snellville

Comcast really needs to rethink their "customer sevice". A few weeks ago our phone and internet stopped working. I called comcast and they couldnt' reset the modem so they scheduled an appt for someone to come out. I took 1/2 day off work and waited for the tech to come out. He arrived at 10:59: 59 AM. The tech informed me (after looking at our modem) that our line had been trapped or in other words, our services for phone and internet had been stopped. No one from comcast bothered to leave a note or report a problem before doing this. We had no phone or internet for 4 days. The tech wondered (out loud) why the person trapped the line on the power pole instead of at the connection on the house. He didn't have a ladder long enough to take the trap off the line. He had to call another tech with a bucket truck to help him. When I asked why customers weren't notified, the woman who drive the bucket truck said sometimes it is done at night, and she personally didn't tell her customers.??? What? How stupid can you be? THEN, the tech who came CUT the old wire on our house and DISCONNECTED the cable from our TV in the den! Sooooo, I had to call comcast again and get another appointment, of which I missed the phone call, so they informed me the appt had been canceled. I had to make another appt. Take another 1/2 day off work to be home. Then they couldn't fix it, had to 'jerry rig" it and I have to make ANOTHER appt. For them to come again and run another line... Oh, the new line is still laying in the yard... The one what was run from the side of the house. Who knows when it will be buried if ever!
