I have had numerous issues with the Fastop gas station in Gastonia. (located at the corner of New hope rd & ozark rd) They are being very fraudlent. I've had quite a few issues with them. Two weeks ago the signs all said that gas was $3.86 a gallon. After I pumped it, I checked my receipt and it said on the receipt that it was $3.94 a gallon. They refused to do anything about it & said that prices change from one minute to another. I always thought that that was a form of false advertising & that thier prices had to match what you were being charged. Especially since that's how they get thier customers to go to thier gas station instead of the one across the street or up the road. On another instance, the girl that was working mixed up the pumps.instead of just fixing it, she said it was our fault & almost gave an 80 year old women a heart attack. She was yelling and screaming at her. She said that it was the older women's fault & that she needed to pay for both of our gas. (I had already paid for mine, and the women had already paid for hers. We were just short by $5 of gas & the other lady didn't pump more then the 10 that she had paid for.) When the older lady turned red and started to panick because she didnt have the money, my friend jumped up & had the manager called. Then the final straw happened last night. My friend went into the store with my credit card to put $7 on, the girl accidently reset the pump, so she told my friend that I had to hang up the pump. After I did instead of just putting the $7 on the pump she refunded my card & tried to run it again. When she ran it the second time it was declined because all I had on that card was $7 as I didnt get paid until today. She said that I would have to wait 3 days. I got very upset & said why should I have to wait 3 days for your mistake? I had her call her manager who started yelling back at us, and then I had her call her manager who had us leave the store. Its just basic customer service. You mess up you fix it. You don't leave your customers stranded. This place needs to be investigated. I am just one person that lives in Gaston county that uses this gas station because of thier advertised prices. However most of the time thier advertised prices doesn't match whats on your reciept. Most people don't check thier receipt. This place is not legit. Please do something!
