Cordia called my elderly father and talked him into changing his phone service with a promise of $40 per month for his entire phone service. His first bill was $98, then he received bills for $72.61, $99.40, and $216.87 all within a few days of each other. They disconnected his outgoing service. Even though he paid all but the $216.87, which was for the same dates as the $99.40 was.
I am his POA and faxed them a letter asking them to cease communication with my father and communicated with only me since I had transferred him to a legitimate phone company and I am handling this for him.
Since I transferred his phone, he has received 2 more bills for $72.61 each. They have no communicated with me although I provided my address, phone number and email address.
This company is a scam and preys on the elderly and poor. They lie about their rates and have many complaints against them through the Better Business Bureau. They make promises of low prices and then double and triple the rates. Someone should put them out of business!
