I contracted World Moving Services (a broker) to organize my move from Philadelphia to California. The contract had a 'guaranteed delivery date' that was a range of dates over two weeks. My items did not arrive within this 'guaranteed' delivery time. For two weeks neither company could tell me where my items were, nor when they would be delivered, nor did they care whatsoever that they were in violation of the contract. How can you not know where 7000 pounds of good are? Imagine living in an empty apartment, without your clothing to wear, your pots and pans to cook with, your couch to sit on and having absolutely no idea where your possessions are or when they would be delivered. This could happen to you if you use either of these companies. As of 6/26/08 I have still not received a straight answer as to when I will have my items back.
Do not even consider hiring these people, let alone entrusting them with your possessions.
