The Movind World appreared to be very helpfull directing me to "Black Listed" movers and information on how to not get scammed. They gave me an estimate and a schedule for pick-up, delivery and payment knowing all along that they were not going to follow through with my move.
They assigned me a moving coordinator that never returned my calls. Looking back, that should have been a big clue that something was wrong.
They contracted a well known van line to pick up my things as scheduled. But when it came time for delivery, the contracted moving company called to tell me that The Moving World had not paid them and was not returning their phone calls and if I wanted my thing that I was going to have to pay them directly.
I could not reach anyone at The Moving World either and was forced to come up the money to get delivery. I contaced my credit company and found out The Moving World charged my credit card over a week before they were supposed to. Hmmm - I wonder why...
What a nightmare!
