I entered a dd's store it is under ross on the 13th of june and I was stopped by the loss prevention and i was told i could not shop in the store with that size purse. (mind you they sell big purses) as well as there are customers staring me in my face whispering and pointing. I adv the loss prevention that i have shopped her several times with no problem and he said it started 2 days prior. Well i almost told my daughter to take my purse back to the car but i said no i do not have to do this and i advise the lp that I need a store manager well thinking it could get better it got worse when i ased him the policy he sd it had been in eefect, and i aexplained i always shop here with no problem. He sd that he had two young ladies with big purses come in and they were shoplifting and i asked him are you implying that i'm gonna shoplift and he sd nothing. I advised him that my rights have been violated and he told me i can remove all my valuables out f my purse and leave my purse behind the counter. Now this is in plain public view. I said no I will shop with my bag and he continued to make sarcastic remarks So I asked for a regional manager number he provided me with the wrong number and then I advised him of this he gave me the correct number. Now get this— I spoke to the regional manager in front of both the employees and she stated there is no such policy and never has been. (racial profiling or what). And mind you the lp is still staning in his uniform loss prevention next to me and my daughter and then as I'm walking off and begin shopping he approaches me again and I advised him that i'm not shoplifting nor have I done anything wrong to please stop harrassing me and leave me alone and he walks off.
