I opened a retail business in 1992. I used Leasecomm for my credit card purchases. I sold the business in 1995. I notified Leasecomm of the sale (as required by contract).in the summer of I get a bill from Leasecomm stating I owe them $2000.
Of course I called and tried to straighten things out. They told me, a new contract had never been signed, by the new owner of the business. When she closed the business, and did not return the equipment, the monthly bills continued.
They threatened me with letter upon letter. They agreed to close the account for $1000. What else could I do? So I paid it. Now reading all the complaints against them, I hope I do not get any more bills!
I think everyone should get together and go after them!
