Leasecomm is a subsidiary of Microfinancial in Waltham, MA. This is a predatory lender that targets small and new business owners through its agents/dealers. Leasecomm uses an adhesive commercial finance lease which is unconscionable. They rely on the dealer lying to you to get a signature on the lease, then they wait for you to default so they can run up fees and sue you in Massachusetts. Leasecomm knows most people can't afford to fight them in a remote location, so they get a summary judgment which they enforce ruthlessly. This is a nasty company to deal with.
If you've made the mistake of signing a Leasecomm lease, get a good lawyer and stand up to this corporate bully. Also, contact your congressmen, attorneys general, and the media to keep others from being raped by Leasecomm. Do not assume they will just go away. They will keep after you until you stand up to them in court and beat them.
Any company that uses Leasecomm for financing is not reputable. They know how Leasecomm operates and rely on the deception to make the lessee the sucker in what is currently a "legal" mugging. Do not sign their lease. Do not do business with Leasecomm or Microfinancial, Inc. Do stand up to them.
