Grace Vaughn brought a horse named "Cane River Wynner" to me claiming that he had clean legs. When she unloaded him from the horse trailer, he was emaciated, covered in rain rot and open wounds, and his feet were horribly neglected. He also had an obvious bad knee on the left. My vet x-rayed the knee and diagnosed severe Degenerative Joint Disease with multiple chip fractures in the knee and said that the horse could never be worked hard. I offered $500 for him in that condition.instead, Grace said she would pick him up and eithanize him (I think in an effort to get me to pay more). She then tried to sell him to a friend of mine and represented him as completely sound. Luckily, she called me first! She then sold him to a very nice lady named Melinda Foster for her daughter as a barrel horse and denied any knowledge of any unsoundness. If Grace Vaughn's lips are moving, she is lying.
