This moving company is conning it's customer's out of money with promises of reimbursement for unused moving materials and/or reimbursement of payment made for weight of your belongings being moved. You make payments (deposits) based on estimates of your belongings and then when they move your goods the charges are based on actual weights and packing materials used. Or so you are told...
I have been trying to get someone to call me back from their office after repeatedly calling, speaking to Customer Service Reps that can't seem to help me and spin me over to a Supervisor who NEVER calls me back and leaving messages with her and never getting a response. They don't have a problem with calling you back when they want your money and business but heaven help you when you need to "settle up" with the contract when you have completed your move!
They also use a transportation company that is owned by a previous employee of Nationwide, but tell you that they broker out to moving companies across the country. From what I understand from the packers that did my job, All Coast Transportation (in the same building as Nationwide Relo), gives out the jobs to moving/packing contractors across the country. My guys came from New York (with a UHaul that they rented) to do a job in Michigan and move it to South Carolina. They do not even work for All Coast Transportation!!! I was told by All Coast and Nationwide Relo that they use only their own moving people and trucks. Not on my job they didn't and I am pretty sure that I am not the only job out there that they have done this too. This transportation company is a whole 'nother story for another report that will be filed as well.
Do Not Use Nationwide Relocation (a.K. A Movingcost.com) for your move unless you want to overpay and then get poor customer service when you are trying to get reimbursed for your unused or items actually used for packing products/services.
