The customer service representative I spoke with to establish new home service was off-the-wall and made some strange comments/jokes that concerned me. I called back customer service to discuss, was kindly re-directed to a supervisor, who, to my great pleasure, turned out to be an adult-child in a "power position"; she was snide, patronizing and could barely hold it together enough to maintain civility. Her main goal was to discredit the customer and she had ALL kinds of BS rationalizations for why my concern wasn't worth her precious time. I cancelled the order before they installed telephone service, thank god. Honestly, who the f* are they staffing at Verizon?
I went with AT&T. Customer service used a no-pressure means of determining what service package I wanted, and I had a simple, quick and straightforward experience getting my plan, and I didn't have to talk to nut jobs. Not my experience at Verizon. AT&T is worth the initiation fee that, I believe, Verizon wasn't charging.
