Just got my bill to learn that Verizon is now charging a $30 Upgrade fee when you renew your contract and get a phone upgrade. This is totally unacceptable. It's bad enough as a long time, loyal customer you took away my unlimitted data, now this, and it wasn't even verbally disclosed when I got the new phone. Called Verizon, they refused to give me a credit. Best they would do is send me an "Accessory" worth $30 for free. I told them that was not what I wanted, I wanted a credit, but if that was all they were willing to do, I would take it.indeed it was all they would do. Whoever came up with this idea in their marketing department should be fired! Talk about pissing people off. After 7 years of being a loyal customer, no more. When this contract is up, I'm done... And I'll tell everyone else I know, not to use Verizon. Lastly, to make matters worse, they tried to tell me it is a fee to help keep monthly bills low and provide good service... Have they looked around, we already pay a premium for their service, they are the most expensive carrier out there, which I was okay with until now, because their coverage is great... But, I'm done... They aren't good enough to deal with this crap!
