Attendant in this store was 20 minutes late opening the store in the am, she seemed nice enough but distracted and harried, and got a phone call telling her she'd be alone in the store without help today, and seemed more interested in telling me her plight than actually properly shipping my package.
I came in with originally packed, extremely sentimental China from my newly deceased Mother, showed the employee not only the outside, but opened the inside of the box and showed her the contents. I was not counseled on how to package this or that it was improperly packaged, and was sold 2nd day air shipping ("so less hands would touch it") and insurance for $500 declared value.
Of course, the worst happened, and half of the china set arrived broken! Now, the mothership UPS has, of course, denied the claim twice based on improper packaging, and the store, of course is standing by its employee, meanwhile, not only is my sentimental china in bits and pieces, but I am out the shipping money and the insurance money to attempt to replace the set!
