Purchased Hunter Douglas Provenance woven-wood window treatments for our dining area. Total MSRP for the 4 units should be approximately $1500.
My wife was interested in the continuous cord feature since we have a 3 year old and two small dogs. We were told that this item was a "special order" and would require special pricing. The price quoted for this feature to be added to all of the units raised the total price to $2700.
Granted - You are probably thinking who would pay that much for the option but we were willing. Now the fun part, item was installed yesterday and did not include any such option!
So in the end I just paid $2700 for items that a drunken sailor on a bender would have paid no more than $1200 total for and could have been purchased on various websites for $1000.
Stay tuned as I have placed a call to the company for resolution since what was ordered and in writing per contract was not delivered. From what I have seen on this site I am not expecting a positive response. Luckily I have friends in the media who may enjoy making a story out of this.
