They overcharges and avoids paying claims on lost and damaged items...
Globe quoted a job of 5,000 lbs. From San Francisco to New York would cost $2,999.
Pick up, drop off, and storage included.
But when the truck arrived a day late, they asked for a loading fee which I refused to pay.
I gave Globe my new address and requested to have my things weighed to verify the weight and therefore the final price upon delivery.
I was told my things would be delivered on August 8th. The truck didn't arrive until August 20.
It was only then that the driver informed me of a $75 per flight charge for unloading. The driver made me sign for the inventory before he would unload anything.
Some of my things are missing and several more are broken. I called the office to ask about filing a claim. Since August 20th, I have spoken with several people who pretend they do not know what claim I'm referring to. I have even sent a list of the missing items and broken items with photographs.
Globe is saying that I said the goods were in good conditioned when delivered. They have never responded to my letter or the photographs.
This is a dishonest company which should be put out of business.
