This company calls me on my cell phone and tells me I can get a $1000 shopping spree online if I order one of the magazines they offer, and get 3 other magazines for "free" all for 58.86 a month for a whole year.
They proceed to charge your account twice a billing period, without regard, and when you call them, they tell you that you can't cancel. I then received letters from them saying that I am late on my monthly payments, or that if I don't make my next payment, I will have to pay in full or be brought up on charges to a collection agency.
I called the person at the bottom of the letter, and she told me that she would look into it. She called me back and I thought I was finally going to get somewhere. Boy was I wrong.
She at first answers the phone as though she was just answering a phone that didn't belong to a business, and talks very polite, pulls you in, and then told me to call back in 15 minutes because she is on the road and needs to find a place she can pull of to talk safely. I call back in 15 or so minutes, no answer. I call back 15 minutes later, still no answer. I left a message asking her to please call me back, and she never did.
This last month I saw 2 charges on my credit card for $116.32 on the same day. I finally had it, called my credit card company and told them I dispute the charges, and that this company is a fraud and such. I find a later charge on my card from the same company a week later, of the same amount, a grand total of $348.96 the whole month. I get the whole amount disputed, and finally a week after that I get a phone call from the company saying we needed to talk.
They don't care that I tried canceling in July, and that I was told I couldn't. They told me that they didn't understand why I couldn't because there is a charge of $200 or so dollars and I could have walked away. Now they want to only give me back $58.86 of the $348.96, and tell me that if I don't get the dispute taken off, they will charge me $200 total for all 3 disputes, charge me in full, that being the entire $348.96 and whatever else I might owe that they say I do. They say that I can't get my 3 magazines promised until I give them back the gift waver, and that they prepaid to my account so I can't get out of it now.
Honestly, what reputable company prepays to an account that would be around $500 or more dollars. Apparently this company to keep us in on their scam so they can get our money, and find a way to keep us paying them. Please if you get a call from this company, do not be pulled into this scam. It will ruin your credit, and anything money you might have been saving.
They have no regard for anything but getting money. STAY AWAY from this company.
