Yes i worked for walmart for a little over a yr i was in the hardware department along with other depts from day one the manager and i did not hit off mine this wa sthe second manager of the store first one they had was great wish he would of never left on days the asst manager over my department would ask if i would come in early hey not a problem until the manager found out i was there he really thru a fit yelling at me and all i was doing was doing what i was told
Well they brought a girl over from there lunch thing they had in the store for me to train in hardware which i did well the opening for department manager came open everyone said owe you will get it boy were they wrong they made the girl i train the dept manager maybe because she was young enough to be my daughter so i asked to be moved from that dept
They put me up doing cashier work istarted having problems with my back i went to the doctors he then gave me shots in my back to releave the pain and put me on a weight release my doctor even wrote a letter saying that i could not stand for long periods of time did that matter to walmart no!!! My doctor put me on sick leave then one day my manager calls me and tells me i needed to be back to work the next day or ididnt have a job i explain to him i dont have a doctors release
So the next day i called the doctors only to find out my doctor left his practice for another job that i had no ideal they didnt even have a doctor there and no one could give me a release so needless to say i lost my job i have since then submitted 4 different applications on there hiring machine and not once was i ever called are they going to tell me in the past two yrs they havent hired anyone ya right i fill that its discrimination because of my age i always did my job along with other jobs in walmart i was always there on time i feel if the manager had it his way since he is only 30 yrs old he would have all young people in there
