Recently a friend was denied employment at the Vestal Walmart super center due to a conviction for a misdemeanor in 2003. Shortly after that an employee who has constant problems with an assistant manager found out that this asst manager who brags about being a former State Law Officer was not only forced to resign from law enforcement or be charged with theft of property but also was out on bail for several charges of which one was robbery when he was hired. He plead guilty to one or more of these charges and is still employed as an asst. Manager at Walmart. How does this not create some type of discrimination? This asst. Manager also smells of alcohol on a regular basis and nobody does anything about it. If anyone would like the newspaper articles on this asst.
