I had ordered from this once before and did receive my first order, although it took about 3 weeks to get them. I was very satisfied with my product, a couple of pairs of Carhartt double knee denim dungarees with knee pads. I have a lot of friends in construction and they always complain about there knees being in pain. I had told them about the pant and the site "contructiongear.com". Since one of them had a birthday coming up I decided to get him 2 pairs.
I place the order over the phone, Lydia, specifically said they had it in stock and would be shipping it out. I placed the order around mid January they did not process it till a week later. Then they tell me that they don't have it in stock and that it would be shipped directly from Carhartt.
One month later still nothing in the mail. Of course the birthday present is late now. So I email them 2/20/08, letting them know I haven't received anything yet. 2/21/08 I called and left a message also. Next day I call again and left another message. Then finally Friday that week they call me back, and said it was shipped and delivered mid Feb. Said they could not research anything being that it's a weekend.
I was fine with that, at least I'm talking to someone now and its going somewhere, so I thought. I said that's fine, "just shoot me an email or voice message". I went on vacation, came back, check mail and messages, only to find a whole lot of nothing. Left them a few more messages, and of course no reply.
One time I got lucky, just as I called them, someone over there just picked up the phone to make a call (heard her dialing) only to find me on the phone, and as soon as I said my name, she pretended the phone did not work and she couldnt hear me, and hung up on me. I called right back and guess what voice mail. *mutha$#$#$#!!!
This getting to be too long and boring so I going to wrap it up. Left them one last message 3/7/08 advising them I calling my credit card company. Bottom line is that they are a small operation running out of there garage (heard kids running and screaming in the background) very unprofessional, no communications, long delivery time if it does arrive.
