On Feb. 3 I paid my bill on line and accidently overpaid by $110.00. I contacted them right away and was assured this amount would be refunded to me.By Feb. 13 I had not received anything so I called again. I was given a complete run around and finally after 1 1/2 hrs, i was transferred to a "supervisor" who then told me that the entire $237.45 was going to be reversed by to my bank account within 48 hours at which time I could then go on line and pay the correct amount. NEVER HAPPENED!!!
On March 1 I contacted them AGAIN and was told that the pmt has been removed but they had no idea where it went because they had to way of tracking it. It was NOT credited back to my bank account. Where could it be??? It is surely in someone's pocket NOT MINE.
This morning, Fri., March 7, I woke to find my cable had been disconnected overnight for NON PAYMENT!!! I contacted them AGAIN and was told I would now have to get proof from my bank, take off work, and take the proof to my local office in Portland, Texas. Wonder if they are going to pay me the lost pay when I have to take off work??? I'm at the point now where, they can keep my money. I will now go to direct TV and recommend NO ONE ever use Charter Communications.
