The New Jersey Natural Pages took money for me, just over $330 in November to run an ad in the New Jersey Natural Pages that was contracted for "sometime in January" to run for 6 months. The media never appeared in health food stores the entire month of January and when I spoke to the company on February 1 and asked if there was a problem I was told that they had a disaster and the booklets will be out in February in about three weeks. I had asked if everyone was alright expecting to hear about a flood or something, but he had told me that there computers had gone down. I explained that someone should have contacted me about this so I could have arranged for additional advertising to make up for this gap and also, I should get an adjustment or refund. I was told by a man who said he is the owner that he could "try to get me a refund, " but cannot give me an adjustment as the ad would still run for 6 months, but later. I explained that this is not the same value I had paid for and I will think about my refund request over night and talk to him tomorrow. He got very snippy with me telling me that I am harsh and that he won't talk to me tomorrow. I have sent emails, a certified letter, and called insisting on refund. He has refused to provide me a refund and has refused to respond in writing to me. I run a business (I am a massage therapist) and do not have time for this nonsense. The last time I spoke to him, he said I would have a refund, yet it did not appear in my bank account; he was warned that I am livid over this and intend to file a lawsuit Monday (today) if the money is not there. I took the cheaper alternative by filing this complaint on usacomplaints.com and I will not take it off unless I get a full refund quickly.
