Hiringmax and Fred Omidvar (owner) hires "independant contractors" which are actually employees according to the law. They use Hiringmax office space and equipment to perform staff functions directed by Fred Omidvar, but taxes and workers compensation are not filed.
Hiringmax and Fred Omidvar also fail to pay their "employees". Threats of Labor Board or lawyer action have to be made before payment is even considered. Although I only worked for a short time, I found it very frustrating to have my responsibilities increased, and yet be working for no compensation as I was not paid according to our agreement.
A previous report was filed stating that vendors had not been paid, and that there were Labor Board cases pending. I was not privy to that information, but fully support, and can produce documentation to the claims that employees are not paid!
