The Right One - Great Expectations
I was almost ripped off!

I was playing around on the computer one night and decided to check out a website that I had found out about from signs posted around my town called Warminstersingles.org I got really excited thinking that I could find someone that lives within 4 miles from me. I started to create a profile inputting my name, address, phone numbers, goals, and reasons my previous relationships didn't work. Towards the end it asks you to upload a personal picture to make the process go faster. I was ready to view personal profiles when it just came to screen and paused. A message stating "a counselor will be in contact with you shortly to help you finish your profile". I thought to be unusual and put it aside.

The next night I recieved a phone call from a fellow named Charles from Cherry Hill, NJ who claimed he was going to help me find love. He said their program was guaranteed, in fact, it's how he found his girlfriend. After Charles built a little bit of rapport with me he wanted to know if I was available to come in to meet with a counselor that same night to go through an exclusive screening and to go through a background check. I got very defensive and wanted to know why. He stated that it was for the other member's protection and would show that I am who I say I am, that i'm not really married or living with somone and that i'm not a serial crazy person. I was still at work and told Charles that it wouldn't work out. He asked me what my day tomorrow looked like and I told him I was off. He scheduled me for a 12 noon appointment to travel to King of Prussia PA to meet with a counselor. We shortly got off the phone and I really began to think. What girl with a head on her shoulders would go through all this to meet a guy? Well I blew off the appoinment.

The next day around 11:30am a woman called me and wanted to know how I was making out on my way in. I made up a story telling her I misplaced Charles number and that I had to go into work to take care of some business. She told me it was my responsibility to show up and that a counselor had driven from Cherry Hill NJ to King of Prussia, PA to meet with me and was waiting concerned. I asked her how much all this was going to cost me and she said this is a free consultation with no obligation. I told her that I too am in sales and know for a fact that nobody had driven that length to meet me when there was no guarantee that I was going to show up in the first place. Her tune changed and she began telling me that everything I was doing up until now to meet women wasn't working and that I would not meet anybody without their help or services and that in the 20 mins we were talking on the phone that I could have been there. I quickly hung up the phone.

I called my brother who attends Villanova Law and he asked me to give him their phone number. He shortly called me back and referred me to his website and my eyes popped out when I read all the testimonials and stories of what would have happened if I had shown up for my consultation. This company should not be in business and is extremely misleading and unethical. If I had shown up I would have been seated in a chair with my back to the door to watch a video of couples being together and happy. They would have wasted 2-3 hours of my time and then put me in an office with the counselor aka salsperson who would have placed 4 options in front of me costing thousands of dollars.

When you go into payment shock or tell them you can't afford it they start negotiating the prices and try blocking it into a monthly budget with money down like you're financing a cheap used car. They use sharp sales tactics and bully you for your credit card or checkbook, afterwich have you sign a contract. You'r next consultation will be a few days later and while you're waiting to hear back from them. You're three day right to rescind or cancel the contract expires and you are locked in and cannot get your money back. I've read testimonials where people have fought and cannot win. They will try to manipulate you when you are vulnerable and do everything they can to get you to see value and sign the contract.

I'm upset over the fact that they are 50 miles away and are soliciting my towns name on their website. I read that they pay women to go on dates with men, they have an overabundance of men on their site, you only get 7 matches and then you have to renew. People have paid upwards $5,000 and have not had one date in two years. It is $1,500 for one year, $2,500 for two years, $3,500 for three years and $4,500 for four years. I want people to understand what this company is all about and what to expect when they show up for their free consultation.

It's not fair and even though nothing has happened to me and I want everybody to be aware of this company! I've alerted the news and the inspections/licensing division of my county and i am going to do everything that I can to get them to take warminstersingles.org out of their search engine. I called the company again the next day and talked to the same woman that got nasty with me and told her what I had found she had nothing to say other than that's a different a company.
