Together Dating Service has been a complete nightmare for me. It is a rip-off to the hard-working consumer. I thought I would find the right person through this service, but I was wrong about it. They have been around some 35 years and I don't know how this company stays in business. They give you a song and dance and play off your feelings.
I signed up with Together earlier this year and I was nearly going to walk out when the attractive sales woman made the pitch. "Well, *, if you don't sign here, how do you know if you will ever meet the right person at work on the internet?" They also bait a person with a picture album of people of made a connection through Together, just to "legitimize" their services.
I arranged for five matches for an expensive fee and have only received four matches. Three of the girls had excuses not to go out with me. The one girl I dated said after the date that we lived too far apart. I have sent letters to Together telling them of my discontent with the service. I called on a couple of occasions only to be told "maybe the next match will be the right one."
I have contacted both BBB of New Jersey and the Somerset County Consumer Protection agency on this matter and absolutely nothing has been done. The Together people even told BBB that my claims against them are baseless and I have no case. They have basically slandered me and my character to BBB even though I am the person who was ripped off.
To all single men and women out there, don't deal with these people. They only care about your money, and don't give a * about the emotional stress you have to deal with. As long as they get you to sign that contract, that is their only goal. I have to pay these bastards two more years of payments, don't make the same mistake I did. Singles are desperate to meet someone, and these vermin play off your fears that you will never meet someone against you. It is basically these low-lifes playing with your mind and get away with it.
