This company preys on vulnerable individuals who are looking for a mate.
I found this place by calling the number on an ad I had seen on the side of the road, stating "singles call..., " thinking that it might be a singles group that I may want to join.
They made an appointment for me to come in at 5:30 the next day. I sat down in an office with a very attractive blonde girl, and she proceeded to tell me how everything was SUPPOSED to work.
I took the test, I answered the financial questions, and I told her all of the things that I had tried to meet someone, and of course, she reassured me that none of those things work.
She told me how good I looked, what a nice guy I was, and how she had two people in mind for me, right off the top of her head, and she kept telling me that they only have quality people as clients... Professionals.
I said, "I'm not a professional, " and her answer was, "you know what I mean, people with jobs." Anyway, by the time 8:00 came, she had sweet talked me to death, until I was ripe for the picken's.
She told me that they NEEDED someone like me, and she made me feel like there were all these women out there, just waiting to meet me.
That's when she slipped a piece of paper in front of me that had some crazy amounts of money. For $3200 dollars, I would get 7 referrals and there were higher prices for more, of course. She was willing to make this special offer to me for that day only, if I signed up before I left the office.
She also tried to reassure me that this was a great price, and that if I went on the internet, it would cost me 6 or 7 thousand dollars for this kind of service.
I had no idea at the time, if what she was telling me was true or not. I had just gone through a divorce after being married for twenty years. I did not know of such things.
It's like she read how much I had in the bank, and used that number for her price. I bit, hook line, and sinker.
THIS IS A SCAM! The only thing that ALL of these girls that they referred to me had in common, was their negative attitudes towards TOGETHER.
You don't really get it when you sign up, that these are all BLIND dates. You don't see a picture. They send you a little intro, like, this person rides a bike and listens to music. HEL-LO!
I have gone on THREE dates, from the SIX referrals that have been sent to me. I am 54 years old, and I weigh 160 pounds. I have specified PETITE, over and over, and I have told them how serious I took this whole thing, since it was going to take me at least the next two years to pay for this service.
The problem is, there IS NO service. They can't deliver. The last person they hooked me up with, only wanted to date MILLIONAIRES, and that she was going to report TOGETHER to the Attorney General's office for all of the losers they had sent her.
I wrote TOGETHER a letter telling them how disappointed I am, and that I figure 7 dates, at $3200, is like $500 per date when you throw in dinner. I am a nice person, and a good person, and NOW I am a SUCKER person.
Of course, they will never put me on the phone with the girl who sold me this load of CRAP! They said, "Why would you want to talk to her?"
She probably doesn't even work there anymore. I really don't know how anyone could sell people on this, and be able to live with themselves.
