Our business service was slammed by misrepresentation. It appears the service switch involved multiple companies. These are the companies involved in our switch:
Business Network Long Distance (company that initiated unauthorized switch) Alliance Group (wholesaler that made the electronic switch) USBI (billing company who apparently gains from all fraudulent billing)
Qwest Communications (local carrier for our phone service)
I made numerous calls seeking information from all participants. Qwest Communication is the only company responding and they proposed some credit.
We filed a complaint with the Iowa Utility Board to initiate an investigation. Their results will be forwarded in an FCC complaint. If every party damaged with slamming practices files a claim with the FCC they might take action to stop these practices.
