Our home phone service was in my name. Someone from USBI called and spoke to my husband & told him we could no longer have Verizon for our long distant service as they had sold it. (LIE)
USBI also told my husband we would have the same package as we had with Verizon (also a LIE). We were charged with every call plus several other fees from Verizon to USBI to us
of course.
I immediately called Verizon to verify if they sold ther long distant service and they said no and I had them immediately switch us back too our same plan with which we were very satisfied with.
I could not understand how my husband could switch the service when it was in my name. I found out you have to have a block put on to avoid that from happening. I did! I also called USBI myself and was not satisfied with the results.
