On or around December 5 I found a web site that had some very tastefull photos of some Christmas dress I felt would be suitable for a party. I called the toll free number and spoke to a lady who claimed her name was Sheri. I asked if the particular dress ever comes in a gown instead. Her reply was yes and told me that specialty orders are always taken.
I was then put in touch with a male who's name i have forgotten who told me he could have the dress made into a gown and mailed next day air. I was asked to email a photo of myself so that they can get an idea of my size as I am very petite. The call ended with my paying $130.00 total. The dress itself was only $40.00 and I was told that fed -Ex would or could cost $50.00 for next day air. Because of the higher cost of another gown which was priced at $65.00 I assumed the extra cost was added in and I did not question it so I paid.
The dress that I was expecting was made of red italian lycra velvet. It was a tube style with maribu feather across the top. When delivery day did come I was so excited and hurried to unwrap my package which came very wrinkley and part tore opened. To my suprise the gown that was packaged was this ugly crushed velvet material that I have seen stuffed animals made from. The fur trip was craft fur not maribu and the gauntlet gloves were a joke made of the same material one larger than the other with thi sreal thick piece of material to put your middle finger into.
I called and spoke to the man who picks up and he was very sarcastic to me after bragging ho wmuch I was going to love this gown told me look if you don't like it send it back and after saying that hung up on me. So I took the gown with me to a material store, measured the italian lycra bought it, bought maribu trim, thread and went home and packed the gown sent to me up an dsent it back return receipt requested. The delivery arrived Dec 14th.
Upon calling Bath Sheba to inquire, the same man picked up the phone. I asked did you receive you return item? He stated that the item was probably in the warehouse. So I said oh so you sign for a return and leave it in a warehouse knowing someone paid? He said he would call me back in 5 minutes and hung up never to return the call.
On January 15th I consulted with my bank an dexplained what happened and the call was taken by the fraud department who asked me for the Fed -Ex tracking number and for the numbers on my receipt fo rsending the item back. While I recited the numbers to them they were looking it up on a computer. There was no question asked and my charges were reversed.
Because Bathsheba failed to refund my money and failed to even replace the wrong item I feel they should pay what it cost me ot return the item $15.00. It amazes me that someone can have a nice online store not having to be on her feet in a department store dealing with all sorts of customers and is still a miserable disgrunted dishonest individual.
With some people its just all about the money in which Sheri D has proven that in more ways than one. I even promised to tell others about her garments. IF I would have ever seen what I ordered. Well Sheri I hope this is a lesson learned to you that just because you are in KA and me in IL that I am not helpless and at your frigging merrcy. You sure made m ethink twice about online shopping in the underground online botique stores. From now on its Macys, Nordstrom and places well known with a good reputation. Guess you lose on attempting to rip me off SUCKER!!! Clean up your act and change your bath water it stinks.
