Fedex Ground Delivery service cheats

Fedex ground delivery drivers provide FALSE information. They provide a status of "Customer not available" without making a delivery attempt.

My package had a estimated date of Jan 5th and on Jan 5th 6.18 AM, the package showed a status of "On FedEx vehicle for delivery" at Kennesaw, GA. At around 10 AM, the estimated date was updated to Jan 8th.

I called Fedex twice during the day and the CSR told me that it will be delivered today (Jan 5th) since it is already on the truck (according to the current tracking information). I asked her about the change in estimated date (from Jan 5th to Jan 8th) and she did not knew why it would have happened. She confirmed from the local station that it would be delivered by 8 PM on Jan 5th. She asked me to wait since the package requires a sugnature.

I was waiting for this package the entire day since the package requires a signature to be delivered. At 4.53 PM, there was status update "Delivery exception - Customer not available or business closed". We were home the whole day, also left a note saying that "Fedex - Please ring the bell". No Fedex truck showed up.

I have never run into this issue with UPS Ground and Fedex Express packages before.
