Our office has been receiving false invoices via fax at the rate of 2-3 per week for almost a year now. They offer no contact information for their company except for an address - no phone number, no email/website and no number to be removed from the fax list. Somehow they came up with a signature of the doctor (but the date of the signature has been CLEARLY whited out) authorizing them to "make this offer". They want us to send them $199 if we want to be included in the current year's directory.
We know it's an obvious scam and so we have never responded but they continue to fax these invoices with "PAST DUE" printed in bold letters - we take them right to the shredder but really wish there was some way to make them stop, enough is enough.
