I had been with Sprint cell service for about 6 month and got horrible service. Late phone delivery and a substitute, dropped calls, poor reception ect... It was bad for my business so I decided it was worth the $400 early termination fee. I received a letter from Sprint about my account. Along with "You have been a valued Sprint Customer and we would like to work with you to resolve any issue that may have caused your account problems" was an ivoice for $520.02. Early termination and monthly fee and in big bold lettering COLLECTION AGENCY ALERT. Obiously there goal was to reactivate my service but what a way to do it. This account had never been late.
Anyway, I telephoned the number provided and said that I would like to pay the balance in 4 monthly instalments. $130 ea. I paid the first and then was told that unless the remainder was paid within a month "it was company policy that the account would be turned over to a collection agency". I asked why I could not just resolve it now with them and they continued with, "its company policy" What jerks!!! Do yourself a favor and do not use Sprint at all.
