I have credit alerts through Equifax. Was alerted to a score change due to a collection being reported to the credit reporting agency. My score dropped 41 points!
I called Spartan Financial services and was met with total arrogance. They told me it was a medical collection from 6/06 with Phytest Labs.
Have not been to Phytest Labs. The address they had was an address I haven't lived at since 9/06. They have mailed no correspondence, have made no attemt to call me at home or at work where I have been working for over 5 years.
I try to call Spartan Financial Services and the number had been disconnected. I was able to get the new number by calling information.
When I tried to get more particulars, all they could tell me it was a lab corp bill for $90. I tried to get more info and they hung up on me.
I've heard of others with the same issues with this collection agency and it sounds like it's time to do something about them!
I've got the $90. Show me I owe and I'll pay!
