Avoided employment disaster Atlanta Georgia

Boy did I (as well as my prospective employers) luck out that I happened to do my homework. I am trying to close on my house, new to GA, and am having alot of trouble securing a job in time. Life has been stressfull to say the least. So when I come across this ad:
ENTRY LEVEL
Set up / Display
Cust. Serv.
$2500/MO. To Start
No exp./We train
XXX-XXX-XXXX
I call and get invited to an interview that morning (first clue something was probley weird)

The office instantly gives off vibes of boileroom atmosphere, No plaques, business info on wall, furniture that is new but undecorated, small office, small meeting room, bunck of chairs, Nothing Else. Secratery and a couple of young dudes trying to look like they made a million already; except for the JCPenny Suits they were wearing along with shiny bright maybe $200 Timex watches. (2nd clue-this actually made me look the company name up later)

I am told the ole "they are a sub of a billion$ company and need managers to expand their product, and NO this is not a sales job" (not only was it sales, but door to door sales - arguably the worst, lowest, hardest, most dishonest form of sales) (makes car dealers look honest)
They will train and are looking to fast promote 12 or so people to managers who WILL earn 3800-4500 per month in the near future. It was said no excessive travel was required. Kirby was mentioned, but in the context only that they have 1000's of products and are ever expanding. Sounded good to me. Said they will call later.

OK. Later they call and say I am hired (2nd clue), I explain about my upcoming mortgate situation and need to know when they will actually put me on the payroll.
Tomorow when you show for training. So I can considder this an offer and acceptance and can for-go the other jobs I had not heard back from yet? You got it! Your on the team!

So anyway I go home later pumped I got a job, can get an verification of employment tomorow night, that I can stop waiting for these other offers to pan out, as the last problem preventing closing on our home in 6 days.
Later as its clawing away on my mind how easy it was to obtain, I look the company up on the internet and see, SHOCKER, VACUME SALES, DOOR TO DOOR, number and no other info. Not happy now. Glad I didnt can any of my other job offers yet. Further go on to google Kirby and Bam, thousands of complaints about the jobs, hiring process, sales, service and everything else pop up-which I read with disbelief all night.

Now I am also remembering my deadbeat uncle sometime around 1985 going through this routine trying to show my parents a vacume and specifically it cleaning the bugs off the mattress. This image sticks with a 10 yr old, hence why I remembered.

So Im seeing this info like a puzzle i fell into - the ad, the interview, the deception of what the job really entails, and pays, and espically DOES NOT GUARANTEE TO PAY, ect and I and Roaring now. So I ponder, do I:

A. Blow the whole thing off? - not a question now that my house situation has been fkd up, I am simply ready to pound some ass. Some people have a short temper. I have almost none. Only my practicallity keeps me in check. Usually. And this is a bad time to F with another mans life and finances. Almost a very violent time.

B. Go to training, now knowing the bomb they will lay on everyone (as in it is sales, it is Door-to-Door sales, Selling Vacumes, it is TOTALLY commission dependent, and really no pay will be guarnteed) and FN explode when they wheel in the unit and tell us how we really display it, not sell it? And for appoitments and not door-to-door? Start smashing everything and everyone.

C. Wake up and try to secure one of the jobs I luckly didnt get a chance to blow off, get some air, and have a chance to vent.
I choose C, get my other job in a nick of time to get my house, and do relax and laugh about it alittle.
So THE MORAL OF THE STORY TO FUTURE DECEPTIVE EMPLOYERS:
-be carefull who you F with - not everybody gets taken, and some people it is simply a very bad idea to try (mobsters, cops, gangmembers, cons, bikers and very loose individuals who are are good examples) they dont just let it slide.
-I told this guy my situation with the house, and while I agree it is not his problem, he is trying to "Sell" people on the paid training, better judgement (and my rather Dont F with me demeaner) should have lit a bulb in his mind that this guy will go bezerk if I tell him tomorow that this is not a hourly position actually, but a commission one, and all the other stuff. And at 223 and 5-9 man them 2 dudes were in trouble.
-Only, and I mean Only the luck of the other job at the exact right time, and the sight of my baby afterword saved these two dudes from what I would like to think would only have been an assault and battery and not anything worse.
(Maybe a vacume out the window)

So I chalk it up to a lesson learned, forget it done.
I simply want to make others aware both employee seekers and prospective employees.
Good luck and Peace all.
